Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mango fresh and ripe
  • 4 dried figs soft!

Instructions

  • blend 2 cups mango, and 4 dried figs until smooth and very well combined
  • Spread evenly on parchment paper lined baking sheet about 1/8 of an inch thick and a little thicker on the sides as those will cook quicker! Just thin enough to not see the parchment through the mixture.
  • Use your dehydrate setting on your oven or just cook at your lowest temp for anywhere from 4-12hrs (I personally put it in the oven before I go to bed and it’s always perfectly ready to pack in lunches by morning - about 8hrs)
  • timing definitely depends on your oven temp and thickness of your puree! You want the edges to be able to easily peel apart from the parchment without tearing and middle to not have any mushy sections. Cooking too long will cause it to break apart more like freeze dried fruit - which is actually still delicious
  • Cut into strips, roll, refrigerate for up to one week!
