Pulse oats and nut/seed mixture in a blender or food processor until a thick grainy texture forms - it should not be fully ground.
Pour oat/nut & seed mixture into a large mixing bowl and combine with remaining ingredients
Mix well and spread onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes - check texture to see if it's still soft. It will be a naturally softer texture because of the juices of the raw apple and you don't want it to burn! It will harden slightly as it cools
Let it cool and continue to crisp on the counter before storing in an airtight container for up to one month
