Ingredients

  • 3 cups strawberries ripe!
  • ¼ cup honey or brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp chia seed

Instructions

Meal Prep Instructions:

  • wash and chop strawberries
  • Add strawberries and sweetener of choice to a sauce pan over low heat, simmer until berries easily mash.
  • Mash in the pan with a fork or other utensil. I personally love to blend it with a hand held immersion blender for an extra smooth jam but mash to your preference!
  • Continue cooking on low heat, add chia seeds, stir until juices reduce and thicken slightly. Remove from heat.
  • Let the jam cool completely in pan off heat. Once cool and thickened add to a glass container and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. It will continue to thicken after refrigeration!
