
Healthier Homemade Kudos Bars
A childhood favorite snack with a major healthy upgrade, loaded with whole grains, sweetened with honey, unrefined coconut sugar, and a healthier chocolate dip sweetened with only stevia. Top with dye free sprinkles or cacao nibs for the perfect guilt free finish
Ingredients
For the grains
- 1 ½ cups brown rice crisp cereal
- ¾ cup cacao crisp cereal
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ¼ cup quinoa raw, uncooked
sauce ingredients
- ¼ cup coconut sugar
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 4 tbsp butter grassfed!
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
For the glaze – optional, but definitely makes these feel extra special!
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- ½ cup lilys white chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp cacao nibs
- 1 tbsp super natural rainbow crunchies sprinkles

Meal Prep Instructions
Mix the grains and sauce
- add all grains into a large bowl and toss to combine
- Over low heat simmer the sauce ingredients until sugar and honey are well dissolved but not boiling!
- Pour melted sauce over the grains and mix with a spatula until all the grains are well coated and start sticking together
Shape bars
- Pour mixture into a parchment lined baking sheet
- pack tightly together with a spatula and smooth it out into a large rectangle until about 1 inch thick
- Place in freezer for 20 min until hardened and not breaking when you pick them up
- Cut bars into 10-12 single serving pieces
Glaze bars
- Over low heat melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil until smooth texture forms
- Dip the bottom of each bar into the melted chocolate mixture and place dipped side up back on parchment paper, sprinkling immediately with cacao nibs or sprinkles before the chocolate hardens.
- Once dried (you can speed up this process by placing back in freezer for a few min), refrigerate in airtight glass container for up to a week – enjoy!
