
Creamy Cashew Sauce
A thick vegan sauce that is perfect for a hearty grain bowl – best served warmed up
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup cashews softened in hot water for about 30 min
- ¼ cup veggie broth
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp miso paste
- pinch of salt
- squeeze of lemon
Instructions
Directions:
- Once you soak cashews in hot water for 30 min, drain and rinse them, blend with remaining all ingredients in a food processor or with immersion blender until smooth and well combined. Store in the fridge in an airtight glass container for up to 5 days. Best reheated over a warm grain bowl for the smoothest pour
