Anti-Inflammatory Lemon Blueberry Smoothie

Ingredients
  

Makes one large smoothie

  • 1 cup fresh organic blueberries
  • 1 small banana
  • zest and juice from 1 lemon
  • ½ tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup coconut water

Instructions
 

Meal Prep Instructions:

  • Throw all ingredients (except for almond milk + coconut water) into a reusable food storage bag and FREEZE – I love this Stasher Bag Bundle

Directions:

  • Take bag out of freezer and add liquid, letting the mixture sit for at least 10 minutes until slightly softened (for the smoothest texture)
  • With a high powered blender, blend on high for about 1 minute until very well combined and smooth. Add additional liquid as necessary for desired consistency
  • If making fresh – be sure to add a handful of ice for a cold blended finish
