
Anti-Inflammatory Lemon Blueberry Smoothie
Ingredients
Makes one large smoothie
- 1 cup fresh organic blueberries
- 1 small banana
- zest and juice from 1 lemon
- ½ tsp freshly grated ginger
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 cup coconut water
Instructions
Meal Prep Instructions:
- Throw all ingredients (except for almond milk + coconut water) into a reusable food storage bag and FREEZE – I love this Stasher Bag Bundle
Directions:
- Take bag out of freezer and add liquid, letting the mixture sit for at least 10 minutes until slightly softened (for the smoothest texture)
- With a high powered blender, blend on high for about 1 minute until very well combined and smooth. Add additional liquid as necessary for desired consistency
- If making fresh – be sure to add a handful of ice for a cold blended finish
