
Whole Grain Nutri-Grain Bars
Just a few staple all natural ingredients with added protein from greek yogurt, eggs, chia seeds, and plenty of fiber from real fruit and oats.WATCH ME MAKE THESE
Ingredients
3 Ingredient Chia Jam – can use any fruit! Or you can use store-bought jam
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- ¾ cup oats
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp salt
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp honey

Meal Assembly Instructions:
Create dough
- Grate 6tbsp cold butter set aside
- Add 1 cup whole wheat flour, 3/4 cup oats, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp salt to a bowl
- Add cold butter and toss with hands until butter is well coated
- Add 2 egg yolks, 2 tbsp greek yogurt, 2 tbsp honey. Mix with hands kneading dough until a well combined sticky dough ball forms
Shape dough
- Add dough to a well floured surface (I like to place on parchment paper with flour to ensure non stick!) Roll dough into a large thin rectangle.
Fill dough
- Divide the dough into 6 squares. Add a dollop of jam on one side of each square, folding over the other side to encase the jam (careful not to break the dough!
Bake
- Press each side with a fork to seal.Back for 15 min or until top is browned and dough looks done! Don’t over cook 🙂 Cool for another 15 min before refrigerating in an airtight container
